Brownstown Township The Germania Club Downriver
reports with deep sorrow the passing of Peter Lucas, who died on June 20 at
age 77 after a short illness. He was a loyal and very dedicated club member
for 33 years, held offices on the Germania board as decorating chairman and
was a member of the Schützengruppe and Karnevalsgesellschaft. As Prince
Peter I", with his wife Princess Denise" at his side, he graciously
represented the Germania carnival group. He was a true ambassador of good
will representing Germania across this state and beyond, including Canada.
Peter's footprints are everywhere at the club, but most significantly, he
left his footprints in our hearts and a legacy of friendship and camaraderie
that spans nations. He will be truly missed by his many friends in the
Germania club and those whose lives he touched.
He is survived by
his wife Denise, 3 daughters and 3 sons as well as 6 grandchildren. |
