Herzliche Grüsse vom Teutonia Verein in Windsor, Ontario

Windsor On November 17 and 18, 2007 the Teutonia Verein held there Annual Christmas Bazaar. With 32 Vendors our halls were overflowing with Christmas Cheer. All of our Undergroups were busy baking and setting up booths for the public to buy our homemade Strudels, Plum Cake, Apple Cake and of course our traditional Christmas Cookies. Out Members were busy making homemade Cabbage Rolls and Chicken Pot Pies. Our Choir was baking Homemade Pretzels. Our Vendors bad such a wonderful display of Christmas ornaments, wreaths, jewelry, ceramics, clothing & purses, beauticians here to show you makeovers for the holidays.

Our Youth Group and quite a few of our members set one day aside and decorated our Club. They did such a great job that Santa himself had to make a stop here at Teutonia Club from the North Pole to greet all our patrons. It was a magical weekend. All our homemade goodies were selling so fast our groups of bakers could barely keep up. What a fun time had by all!

We certainly want all of our Volunteers to receive a heartfelt thank you for once again showing all of Windsor, Essex County and our US friends how we here at Teutonia Club can pull together, organize and orchestrate to all a well thought out and fun Christmas Bazaar. Hat's off to all the Volunteers and all the Patrons who attended. Thank you.

On the horizon here at Teutonia Club we have our New Years Party planned. Tickets are $60.00 per member and $75.00 per nonmember. Our extensive and elegant evening begins with a scrumptious dinner planned by our chef, music performed by the Hetzel Band and a tempting midnight buffet. This is all just the right touch to bring family and friends together to ring in the New Year. We would appreciate if tickets are ordered early.

Our Board of Directors and all the Members of the Teutonia Club Wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season.

Looking forward to serving our community and yours,

Monika
