Windsor On Saturday Sept. 29 and
Sunday Sept. 30. Teutonia Club in Windsor packed their halls full and showed
our community how the German's celebrate Oktoberfest.
With the beer a flowing, music playing, people dancing, the food overflowing
from their plates everyone enjoyed our Oktoberfest.
Our own Teutonia Youth Group with three different dance groups ranging from
age four to mid twenties performed with such enthusiasm it got the whole
crowd going and some even participating. Even our friends Victoria's
Belly-dancers honored us with performance. Victoria even lured our President
up for some Belly dancing, with the crowd a cheering Arno Erdmann graciously
tried but says he still prefers our German traditional dance!
We
certainly want all our volunteers to receive a heartfelt thank you for once
again showing all of Windsor, Essex County and our US friends how our German
Teutonia Club's members pulled together working countless hours to organize
and orchestrate to all a well thought out and organized festival.
Hat's off to all who participated and attended Oktoberfest 2007!
