DANK Chicago will be hosting another open Friday night "Stammtisch" on
July 22, 2005, in the "Skyline Lounge" on the sixth floor of the Historic
DANK Haus, 4740 N. Western Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. DANK will be making
this magnificent room available once a month to share friendships and make
new ones. The purpose is to introduce people in Lincoln Square and
surrounding areas to the organization, and showcase what we have to offer.
FREE admission, and starting at 7:00 PM. Live entertainment performed by the
strolling version of the Phenix Band" playing both American and German
favorites. There is a cash bar featuring draft German beer (of course) and
other snacks available.
DANK Chicago (the
largest chapter of the largest German-American Organization in America) is a
benevolent nonprofit German-American Organization. Its purpose is to
preserve the German culture, traditions, and language. Membership is open to
anyone wishing to join, and drawing members from all over the Chicago Area.
DANK Chicago has been serving large doses of German hospitality "Gemütlichkeit"
for over forty-five years!
